After a great meal on Pepper Street I thought I would try the little street food market that appears in the afternoon. There are quite a few places, but I really am partial to a philly cheese steak, and it always smells great when walking past. So, Haarlans is any good? Let’s find out.
The front of the truck, and the owner of Harrlans. I have to say it is rare you get such great interaction with a member of staff ever. Even thought there was quite a queue, he was talking to everyone, bringing them all in on the conversation. I really cant emphasize how great the street smells when Haarlans is open.
This was the sandwich, really good, especially considering the price. The meat was nicely seasoned with some nice toasted peppers. It is always nice when you see someone assembling your sandwich and they pile on the filling, great experience.
Haarlans – Conclusion
Haarlans is a well run, really nice little street food place, great service and great food. When going out for lunch I am not sure how much more you could want. This place is especially great if you really fancy a bit of a treat, a big load of meat.
