Ippudo

I love a ramen, who doesn’t? But going out for a bowl of ramen in London can be a real challenge. It is seemingly impossible to wade through all of the fake ‘Street-food’ stalls that serve an oxo cube in a bowl, with a few limp noodles thrown in. So, where does Ippudo stand in the sea of ramen shops?

Even though you always have to queue for a while to get in, I love the entrance. Such great views of Canary Wharf, especially at night. The interior of this place is fantastic too, a great atmosphere with really efficient staff.

Spicy pork tonkotsu. This is the only thing I get when I come here. It is fantastic. Incredibly well priced and packed full of flavor. The consistency of the dishes here is amazing too, every time I go it is just as good as the time before, and the time before that … and the time before that. My favorite ramen place in London.

Conclusion – Ippudo

The best place I have been for ramen in London. It has the perfect blend of great pricing and great flavour, topped off by unmatched consistency, what else could you possibly want? This is a place you should go out of your way to visit, no questions asked.
