First day of the new year and a restaurant … well … almost. The RAW charging Stadium is the home of Oxford City football club (not the much better known Oxford United football club). Due to a recent promotion no drinking is allowed when the football is on, so, food it must be. But is the food here worth taking a punt on?

This was the ‘entrance’ of the food stand. There wasn’t much of a menu so you either get a cheese burger, or a burger. Even though the queue was understandably large, the wait for the food wasn’t too bad. But was the (just about) fair price and long(ish) wait worth it?
I went with the cheese burger, I wish I didn’t. With no smoking or drinking it was hard not to inhale this burger, which I ultimately did. The inhalation probably didn’t help, but this was bone dry. It was so dry it was a bit like eating sand. Flavor? Not here good sir.

The halfway mark of the burger is where my patience came to an end. No man can produce enough saliva to conquer this beast. I really wanted to get rid of it at this point but then I wouldn’t have been defeated by a burger, and I simply can’t have that.
The RAW Charging Stadium – Conclusion
Flavor? Not required. Moisture? No thank you. Quality ingredients? Not needed here. Even if you are starving, or really fancy a burger during a game, for the love of god give this one a miss. Even if this burger was free, I would still be offended by its taste.
