A new(ish) little cafe spot near Oxford, Marada 39. It it really nice to see small cafes like this opening up, and not yet another vape site that is back to back with another called “vape life 4 eva” or “vaype hole”. Having said all of this, it it worth a visit? Let’s find out.
In terms of an entrance to small local cafe, it doesn’t get much better than this. Super nice and cozy, and most importantly, very inviting. I have unfortunately lost the photo of the inside but I promise you the inside was just as nice.
This was the full English. As you can see, it seems a little stingy with the meat, one sausage and two bits of bacon seems like a very very light breakfast to me. I wish I could praise this, but unfortunately it wasn’t up to scratch. The meat was almost devoid of flavor and the other bits were just fine. Such a shame as I really wanted to enjoy this meal.
Marada 39 – Conclusion
As lovely as this location is, it just misses the mark when it comes to the food. I really want to love the food here as everything else a cafe should have is here, it just isn’t worth it given the quality of the breakfast. None the less if you want a nice local tea or coffee then there is no reason to avoid this place.
