One of the highest rated sushi and Korean restaurants in London, so why not give it a go? There are very few tables so we were lucky go get a place. Not was the food a surprise, we also had a few surprise guests during this visit.
This was the place. A really nice, warm and friendly interior, with great staff. Our first surprise guest was a woman sitting on the table that we had booked. We were shown to our table, sat down, and the woman still didn’t leave. Eventually I did try and talk to her, we had some other guests arrive and also ask her if we could sit down. Eventually with a sigh she left the restaurant. Nice.
We started with the fried chicken. These guys are a great litmus test for many things. How good are the ingredients? Are they looking to innovate traditional dishes? What are the quantities like? Luckily for hana, these guys hit it out of the park. They were great, a slightly different flavour to normal but in the best way possible. Great quantity and great pricing.
Here it is, the main event, a salmon bento box. This wasn’t quite as impressive as the starters in terms of value and uniqueness, but it was solid. The salmon was incredibly fresh and tasty, the sushi rice (the most important part) was impeccable. The main drawback is the quantity here. I know its an expensive menu item but that doesn’t mean you can offer a bento box with so much space.
Hana Eat Go – Conclusion
A chance encounter with Jeremy Corbyn and a strange woman who refused to leave the table I booked are all essential items you need for a night out. Some good food would also be a nice addition and luckily Hana Eat Go has some of that too. It was really nice, but there was a slight issue when it comes to quantity. Read the full review on the website, it’s worth it.
